Wednesday 10th June Day 23

Last night when I said that it wasn’t blowing a hoolie well it sure did later and for most of the night and we were glad that we weren’t staying at the top of the hill as Glo was rocking enough when the wind was gusting, as for today it’s going to be a bit uninteresting, again that’s a good way of retaining your readers but here we go. Just for a change the weather is not good and the rain couldn't makes its make it’s mind up if it was going to light or heavy, in the end it settled for heavy which put paid to any outdoor activity, Barb decided that she was having a Duvet day and that she might have a look at where we were going next and possibly where we were going to stay if she wasn’t too busy. For me it was website rebuilding which wasn’t a fast process due to the interweb connection but I preserved and got most of it working, normally I wouldn’t make the site live until it was fully finished and tested for a few days to iron out any snags but the plug in supplier for the blog part of it were not being very cooperative unless I paid them as well as the website company and that was not happening. It wasn’t helped by the interweb connection keeping dropping out depending on which way the wind was blowing. By late afternoon it was working enough for the domain name to be linked to the new site which would get rid of the advertisements that readers might of thought we were adding and getting paid for which we wernt. This required another call to the website company and again I wasn’t looking forward to the fun and games I had last time which included changing lots of host settings, ip addresses and other stuff but it had to be done. What can I say technology or the knowledge of the person I was talking to, made the whole process simples and it was all done in ten minutes or less with no changes to made to any of the techy stuff, wow how easy was that. I still need to add more images to the gallery, add the previous entire blogs, get a couple of the links working correctly while learning fully how it works, not the correct way of doing it but it’s done. The blog will look different, the complete journey is in previous blogs section and is in chronological order starting at day one and will be added to as well as the individual blogs. Right website done with for today, next job was to figure out what to do tomorrow, stay where we are or to continue on to the next part of the route, in the end we decided to make the decision in the morning, so we will know a bit earlier than you but we will all find out tomorrow.
